        　　波罗蜜 Artocarpus heterophyllus 是桑科、波罗蜜属的常绿乔木，波罗蜜具有热带雨林植物独特的老茎生花结果的生理现象，因此也叫“树波罗”、“木波罗”。

        　　波罗蜜的花是单性花，雌雄同株，是典型的风媒传粉植物。由于温室特殊的种植环境，波罗蜜自然授粉结果的几率较低，上一年植物园的园艺师们采用了人工授粉的方式让温室的波罗蜜结出了果实，依据成功的经验，今年的波罗蜜再次喜获丰收。(文/图：潘向艳)
